I can see where they are coming from but it also makes it impossible to get the thumb in the thumb hole

They measure 3 12 around wrist which is elasticated on just one side of the mitten and about 3 12 on the widest point of the outside of palm

Easy to put on over the jacket with wide zipper and they dont fall off even after lots of playing
