This antenna exceeds my expectations. It's well worth the price. I'm well satisfied.

Works well with kali linux. Windows 10 works fine, but you don't get any extra network tools, so it becomes an overpriced network adapter. Its ralink chipset responds to all common commands and modes.

The mini tripod is weird at first but if you tinker with it, you'll actually understand how to get the most out of it. There is a piece that spins that moves it up and down and what this does changes how far out the tripod legs can go. The tripod is a... Read More

Works very well and detects all three of the access points in my house. I live in apartments and the router is all the way down the hall.

The wi-fi transceiver produces far more power than what any laptop computer will output. The ability to go in and out of “promiscuous mode’ without crashing the computer is a big plus for those tinkering with wireless network technology.

Cons

Antenna has negative effect of raspberry pi, even with powered hub it has bad performance with raspberry pi. Trip tripod is as flimsy as they say it is. Don't risk $100.

Took more time fiddling with the tripod which is very nice quality

The weight of the antenna would cause it to slowly sink even with the screws tighted on the tripod
