Pros
This torch is better than my bernzomatic i purchased from hd and cheaper. The only weakness of this torch is that it doesn't like getting wet.
The ignition process is fast and consistent. Flame is adjustable from low to very high. The adjustment knob is great as i can be more precise in what i want to burn.
The torch works equally well with both propane and map gas. The only criticism is that the igniter button is plastic. This is so much better in a bunch of other ways in regards to a typical mapp/propane shop torch.
The nozzle and gas delivery parts are brass and steel. It's truly a versatile tool that goes beyond its welding and soldering capabilities. It is great for handling/control of the torch.
It is much easier than i expected to lock after igniting. It has both a safety interlock to lock the torch off (by rotating the yellow trigger button) it has a control valve a always on lock and starts right up in cold temps.

Price
For the price i definitely recommend getting one
My other one i got at napa cost over twice as much and it hardly ever worked
The price is well worth the buy
I’ve used a benzomatic ts8000 for a while but thought i’d try this as a budget priced spare
Competitiveness
So far this works identically to the name brand one and appears to be a near identical copy
This is good quality comparable to the well known name brand that i wont mention
I did a sidebyside comparison between my other name brand model and this one and can find no difference
I have now used it several times and its exactly what the lowes unit should have been at a better price

The lowes unit crapped out on me after only a few uses and refused to light or if you manually light it went out frequently
