Battery is a tiny bit thicker than the original. I reused the tape from the original battery. Fit & function is perfect.

Take it from me use them opened up cleanly without scratching there are dozens of tiny latches holding the nook together

Unfortunately the nook was beyond saving and went to wherever nook readers go when they die so i never did actually get to use the battery

Recommendation take your nook apart and disconnect the current battery from the circuit board but do not remove the current battery from the case yet
