They are physically heavy but in a classy way. Comfort is great, the only slight issue is they can get quite warm. The earpads are super comfortable. Pad comfort is good, although we shall see how long they last.

It is far too short for any reasonable use and it’s build quality is questionable although sound quality is not compromised

Its like having a really fast car but being stuck in the slow lane

Packaging/appearance

I value instrumental detail and after thinking about it for several months decided to buy a second set of headphones – the hifiman sundara

I had many recommendations and after so many videos threads i decided on the sundara

It seems all the money went into the planars

Great sound but my phone wouldnt drive them because of only 96 decibels on the sundaras

Competitiveness

These were bought due to a pair of focal elear failing and as they are £400 to repair i thought these were worth a try

0 overear fiio fd1 iemusing flacs dsd and 1644 lossless sources

Had an extended home trial of a pair of audeze lcd1 and while ok wasnt particulalry seeing the fuss over them
