Pros
The characters are flawed, absolutely, but still likable. Each character is imperfect and finds life hard at times. The author smoothly pulls the various pieces together creating a captivating story.
Viveca sten is on the top tier of authors that i read. I appreciate the way she sprinkles the swedish terms through the pages. Please write another one, viveca.
Although there are some predictable red herrings, the plot twists aren't super obvious. Suspenseful with a surprise ending. The jaw breaking twist and turns the local police have to go through.

Cons
There's a lot of inner monologues for multiple characters that are repetitive and insipid. Not one is likeable. Ridiculous self-talk and lack of self-discipline.

I really liked the book but there is work to be done with the typesetting for kindle

As others have noted there is some strange formatting in a few of the early chapters at least in the kindle version of the story which distracted from the multiple plots

Toward the end as the solution begins to emerge the character names of hanna and amanda were mistakenly switched
