Pros & Cons

Kevin j. Anderson's space opera has it incredible world-building as he takes you to his worlds of wonder like the beautiful planet of theroc. The characters are believable and the pace is acceptable. It's like kid who's been tearing it up and down the... Read More
The first book places the reader in the middle of a simmering pot ready to boil over. Just this first book alone is rather lengthy.

The book reads as if it were simply set into type straight from that dictation. Anderson has some great ideas, but executes them poorly with vapid prose, irritatingly * (as in clueless) characters and junk science.
