Instead you have to manually start and stop it for recording so that doesnt make for a very good nanny cam because it records everything once it is started and doesnt stop till either the battery runs down or you manually pause it or turn it off

One thing to note is that it is very sensitive to light so make sure it isnt pointed towards anything very bright turned on lamp open window with sun etc since it will be a very washed out image if you do
