Pros & Cons
Pros
It's a beautiful, sturdy white porcelain deviled platter. Attractive on the table filled with deviled eggs. It's stoneware, so it's sturdy and goes with anything.
It has 24 deep enough indentations that hold halved or whole eggs very nicely. Holds 24 egg halves.
Great porcelain palette. Came packed very carefully. Guest have commented about how good it looks and how practical.
The classic design lends itself nicely to any decor. The simplistic tray isn't too showy. The only oddity is the center.
It's not a problem when you are ready to eat the eggs, it is a problem when you are storing the eggs in the dish in the fridge and you want to keep them covered. The dish itself is sturdy and functions as i expected.

So if you are making deviled eggs you have no leftovers from one dozen which is certainly not the case with my disappointing and overwrought portmerion plate

As for the indentation in the center well you could put anything there from salt to a rose but not an egg
