Pros

The cartridges are filled more than canon cartridges. This ink is perfect for anyone just starting out or learning how to use and calibrate their printer. Printer recognizes cartridges.

Cons

The problem lies when you receive the package. Frustrating to have to call amazon to complain. Same problem with other reviewers. Sadly, rubbish. After contacting them multiple times my last resort is to leave a negative review.

Print is displayed away from direct sunlight. Room lit by florescent lights. Within 2 weeks the colors are all shades of orange. Same picture of a clear sky with both inks and they both produce the same horrible green color tone sky.

Photo cyan <pc> 42 c-cli42pc is not recognized by the printer. Customers have already requested reprints of photos because ink has faded over 1 year's time.

I do not notice any difference with the brands

The printer does a fantastic job and delivers professional quality printouts unfortunately it also gobbles up the ink cartridges

Price

I have been refilling my own since i bought printer and dye cost was a major deciding factor on affordability for the general family pics

Bottom line the ink works great and the price is fantastic

That said i also shoot a few event photos as well so recouping product cost isnt as important at that point

Competitiveness

I purchased a pixma pro100 about 5 months ago so that i could start making prints of art my friend an i create

They seem to work just as good as the canon ones for a fraction of the price

The canon ones at a quarter of the price omg
