Surprisingly they fitted really well from the moment i put them on i tend to have difficulties getting a good fit as i have a high instep and a foot that is wider than average for its length usually have to wear tens to get a comfortable width but these fitted perfectly
Have used this boot for 5 hill walks so far ranging from 3 to 10km through snowy wet and mucky ground and as of yet they have kept my feet dry and warm
