Pros

The fit and durability is consistently good. Durability, comfort, and value are the reasons i chose another pair of hi-tec altitudes. Great boot for casual hiking, man stuff and so on.

They look almost identical, with just slight cosmetic differences. They hold up excellent and amazon has the best pricing on them. I have to get new insoles soon because my current insoles are over a year old.

Cons

The top eyelet on both sides is about to go on both boots. The metal loop at the top to lace just pops off!

The sole is not michelin like the first boot. After a year of use, the soles have separated from the uppers and the boots are junk. Probably okay with really thick socks.

Hi-tec altitude boots are not very rugged hiking boots. Will never buy a hi tech product again.

These boots are very disappointing. Hiking boots are junk. Don't buy these * hiking boots.
