Pros
Great for pulling out shrub/small tree stumps. Works well on the small stuff 2’ grouping shrubs and 3’ stump. They very clearly inform users to lubricate and grease before use.
The most obvious difference is the two piece handle with heavy duty socket assembly. All the casting seams and drill hole filings have been very cleanly removed. Seems sturdy enough as long as you keep the weigh vertical as it is designed for.

Jack is scratched and chipped all over. Pain peeling off. Will have to powder coat at additional expense. Has a tendency to rust.

Note that you have to spray the entire mechanism with wd40 etc

I read the warnings but still found that out the hard way when i jacked up a heavy shelf and my hand slipped off the handle

I found that the handle is just a lever until the pins lock so if the handle is released in midlift the lifted item will drop to the next pin and the handle will be forced up fast and with enough force to brake bones depending on the weight you are lifting at the time and the distance dropped

Use this only when able to pay full attention and always hold the handle tight
