See picturesclapping function works well although the cam requires some force to clamp and you have to clamp it most of the way to get it over center so it will stay

Shipping box was a joke—heavy vice rattling around in a box 2x too large with a strip of wadded paper for “padding”

Somehow it wasn’t too damaged when it got here just the paint scuffed off one corner so i’m going to keep it

So if for whatever reason you cant have your metal resting on the little ledges on the bottom of the jaws the down force of your drill press will move your piece

I think thats just the nature of a cam vise
