16 tb each replacing qty 6 of segate 3tb which failed in less than 6 months
My prior setup was with a drobo 5d with a total of 4 drives two 4 tb drives one 2tb drive and one 6tb drive
No other drive i can think of near this capacity and price can even pose as competition to hgst

Overall i really love this drive it is fast and running it by itself its fairly quiet as drives go but i have 9 drives in the case and the fans in the case are loud enough that im not ceratain i could hear any of them without turning them off and doing so is not an option

It runs beautifully on linux wont be trying it on windows and there were no electronic problems with it at all

The screw holes on the bottom of the drive are in an odd location

Sitting here i have just compared it with 12 other sata drives and while one pair of screw locations the one near the rear of the drive is in the standard location for hds the front ones are not

However the manufacturer should let everyone know before buying it that its mounting holes are set for a floppy drive bay not a hd bay

There are slightly cheaper 8 tb products too but those are from companies who are known to have a higher rate of faulty products
