Pros

It's not objectionable at all. A little bit noisy when raid operations are being done. Using an external dock to transfer media makes any noise more noticeable.

Using these drives for my nas. Cameras is up and recording. They are great for secondary storage or for raid configurations. Now i feel confident my backup data will be safe.

Bought 5 to replace all of my hdd's after 2 of my older ones (different brand) went bad within a month of each other. Hdd has zero defect, ran avg disk checker & got zero errors. Transfered 600gb in files without a problem.

Cons

Usually i have good luck with refurbished parts, but i don't think these are really verified well. I feel sorry for the person who was expecting a complete kit and maybe didn't have extras laying around and got stuck. Now its past return and i am stuc... Read More

The warranty is a lie since no one will honor it. This has nothing to do with the current seller. Now it sounds like a lawnmower and has only had 1.

Competitiveness

5 million hours thats 235 years so i have no issue buying a refurb enterprise drive that was manufactured 2 years ago

For upgrading my readynas 316 i bought six of these refurbished enterprise drives

Be aware this review only applies to goharddrive amazon seller

Next time ill buy same brand in 6tb
