Used this for threading pipes for a natural gas install. Used it to thread the last section of 1 1/4” galvanized well pipe. Take your time and be sure to use a lubricant.

Very pleased with the quality and durability of the dies and ratcheting die holder. The set is more expensive than the one sold by harbor freight but that not a fair comparison.

Much thanks to sheila and david for giving me the correct way to remove the die. Especially to comment to man-up ( much smiles ).

Don't buy this junk tool, the money you spend here goes right down the drain. I'm sure the big box store version (that's 6x the price) is a much nicer tool. Great price, but not a worthwhile tool.

It's truly one of the worst engineered tools i've ever had the displeasure to use. It's now un-usable. Dulled after a single use on 3/4 pipe. I was forced to disfigure this visible supply line in the bathroom.
