I decided to go for it and get this because i love my dogs and i wouldnt drink tap water daily not in my city at least and id prefer they didnt either

It worked but the box got icky and needed to be cleaned out regularly

Part of the advantage of this bowl is my cats really like sticking their paws in water and because of how low the water remains in the bowl and how deep it is they cant really splash water outside of it

They reason i didnt give this product 5 stars is the bowl i received doesnt look exactly like the one advertised in the picture

It does not have the dog picture in the bottom of the bowl

There is no image at all which i personally prefer but again doesnt look like what was advertised

Hopefully this will not cause water sludge or mold to grow inside of it but it could be a potential issue

My only complaint is that the price is a bit high but its competitive with other filtered bowls and the construction materials are highquality
