While it is possible to tighten collet enough to barely hold these shafts it is dangerous as a burr could fly out at a very high speed. Nominal size is 1/8.

Great for shaping hard materials these are very firm
Worked great to rough clean up my on old knife and rings before final polishing
The abrasive material is very fine and it is made into the rubber so as the tips wear down you still have abrasives
Works great but gives off a lot of dust

Great set of polishers for a good price
Got a bunch of these for a reasonable price
Inexpensive tools but very effective at polishing and removing metal in an easily controlled manner
Competitiveness
These are awesome for a much better price than the name brand ones
For that is the difference between good amd great 4stars to 5stars

I used these for removing paint from old metal porch columns to get into the tight places the angle grinder wouldnt reach
