First use the little red balls on the brush tips came off in my hair 56 came off and since it isnt grasping both sides of the hair it cant possibly do better then an instyler or regular flat iron should have just gotten a wet to dry instyler made like typical china stuff junk

I have found that it works best on almost dry hair after a washing but it also works on humiditydamp hair although the straightening does not last as long
