Have used it on a very matted dog and it works well although the blades do not seem to be as sharp as i expected

Ive had dogs all my life including poodles and have worked as a groomer too so pretty experienced in dog coat care but find the current designer dog crossbreeds cockerpoo labradoodle etc can matt really easily and many people buying them for the supposedly nonshed quality of their coat think this means they dont need grooming sadly this is not true and these poor dogs end up with solid matts all over their body that need to be shaved off

What i will say though is its practically impossible to do harm to your pet with the blades which is the important thing
