As you can see in the pictures these led modules contain rows of leds on the side of each cylinder and three leds on the end

When i took a close look at them a few weeks ago i discovered that even though all of the light fixtures still light up at night all of the led modules have some of the individual leds no longer working

It appears that the leds on the end of the modules are the ones most likely to die

These modules are a nice replacement for the halogen bulbs that come with the orbit lights but the led modules aren’t going to last for the number of years you might expect when the light fixtures they’re in get rained on

Color of light is same as halogen or soft white not the blueish white color

I replaced halogen 20w bulbs in small desk lights and these bulbs are quite a bit larger diameter than the halogens they replaced so they touch the glass plate that covers the bulb

Probably the glass plate isnt even required for leds since they wont produce harmful uv the way halogen does
