Can be set to different lighting patterns, or turned off, via the serato settings - mixer menu. The controller is very simple to use.
Cons
There's no actual disc in the box, and you simply navigate to a website and download a free trial of serato. You get a mini usb cable, but that's about it insofar as connecting other devices with it.
The tempo sliders are the biggest issue. The headphone jack for monitoring and cueing is already bad. Pressing the bye/play is so loud. The tempo fader is way too close to the jog wheel so unless you have tiny pin fingers, you will probably bump one o... Read More

No remapping capabilities to reassign functionality in the software as well

This is certainly been worth every penny
For the price and what features it has its amazing

For the price it is a fun portable deck and can easily fit in a backpack

If your a beginner i would suggest you drop a few more dollars and get a better controller like the ddj 200
The bassfilter option is an improvement over the competition as well

First selecting songs and loading them into the decks require external control would be great if they used the existing shiftkey and a knob such as the two track volume controls to scroll and select a song instead

Second the lights are fun but when the deck is not being used they continue to run patterns even when the computer sleeps annoying at night requiring you to unplug it
