Do yourself a favor and find a local kite shop. Very thin material.

Kids love these kits and they are easy to assemble and get flying have bought 2 of these as one got stuck in a tree lol but awesome kits
These seem durable and strong and i am pleased with this purchase
Might be able to hold it down with superglue before it gets worse
They easily assemble and fold back down for storage
Price
For a good price you get two kites which look nice and so far have not been destroyed by a kiteeating tree
