The bulb that comes with the hood is so dim that it's essentially worthless. Anyone expecting a decently constructed product will send this peice of junk back. Cheap, thin metal, not sturdy, will bend and dent easily.

Same size same sheet metal work same screw holes etc

The only difference is that there was an exhaust vent vent adapter screwed on to the back of the range hood

Im sure it isnt so it wont melt the plastic covering it but maybe an led bulb would be better
