Pros

I am still on the original rechargeable eneloop battery and it is still going strong. One improvement would be to the instructions include photos on how to change from aa battery configuration to a cr123 battery configuration.

Light tap function on the back button are a great one-up on the surefire e1l. It has three settings - bright, normal, and strobe. The button is a click on/off type button that pulls double duty. It defaults to the low mode which for my every day use s...  Read More

The light is sturdy and has a good output. Great light, compact. Fantastic light. Compares well to another light i have which cost $200.

It fits a magpul scout mount and secures well. Works bright after 2 months and on lithium aa batts. Fits easily in your pant pocket.

Led bulb, tail clap clicky switch. They are just about indestructible and at 130 lumes quite bright.

Cons

Lights go bad and the lights don’t turn on or go out intermittently. I'm sure some small component must have broke inside but i'd have to dismantle the light to see. No flashing option and no zoom.

They feel, look sturdy, but one failed to operate after 5 weeks. This one is rip off. Such a disappointment.

Quality

The quality is good and i would recommend them

Bought this on a flash sale at christmas for my husband for a steal and hoped it would be the quality others had mentioned

The other two are still good but the quality and feel is not there

Theyre also pretty bright for the size

Price

Ive had them both for a little while and theyve perfomed flawlessly

This was very cheap when i purchased and it was definitely worth the price

Packaging/appearance

Awesome fast shipping and packaging by amazon thank you

Competitiveness

I love how it can run off of either a aa or a cr123 battery

It can also run on a cr123a battery and it is slightly brighter

By shorten it it will take a cr123 lithium battery

I like that you can make it much smaller by removing the adapter and using a cr123 or cr123 rechargeable
