The sound of the mic is really good. The sound quality is good and it's actually very clear.
Battery life is decent, but i do have to plug it in overnight. Btw, i’m always in the house when she naps, or just on my porch so the connection is great.
Overall impression of this monitor and the customer service is very favorable. This monitor fits my needs perfect and i really like it, especially since i didn't have to pay an arm and a leg for it. I would definitely recommend.
We love that this gadget enables us to communicate with our baby. It's compact enough to take along when traveling and doesn't require any wifi. My baby is a 40 foot bus that sits on my driveway in arizona.

Cons
The vox mode only has 2 settings, high and low. You have to keep checking it manually throughout the night. Randomly for like no reason the monitor becomes disconnected from the camera and starts beeping.

Long battery life on the video piece

Only issue we’ve had so far is some crackling over the microphone if the camera piece has been left plugged in for too many days in a row

The only complaint i have is battery life after the first 6 months or so we’ve had to keep it plugged in or it dies within an hour or two if the screen is on the whole time
