There are no problems with the quality of what its suposed to do
I was looking for a thin cpl filter for my leica 50mm summarit that would hold the lens cover firmly in place with the filter on
Sure quality aint cheap but if you buy a cheap filter you will not be satisfied and it will be money thrown away
If you buy a quality filter you will forget what you paid for it and you will be happy with it for as long as you take pictures

Competitiveness
I use heliopan filters on both my rb67 and on my nikon
As with all heliopan filters it is of high quality
So far i tried various alternative 77mm lens caps but none of them could fit
You cant find a better filter than heliopan

I do not like the slim filter personally because i cannot attach my nd filter holder screw in to it nor is it possible to even put on your lens cap

This filter is a circular polarizer meaning it works with both manual focus and autofocus cameras

If all you want to do is take 4x6 snapshots at your kids birthday party go with a cheap cardboard camera with a cheap plastic lens and forget about a filter

Aluminum threads will stick eventually which could possibly damage a lens
