The helikon-tex swagman roll poncho works great. The hood tucks into a pocket and stays in place with velcro when using it in blanket mode. The toggles on the corners can be used to attach the blanket to a poncho, much easier than tying with strings.
Big pocket in the front is great for storing some lighter items. Saves alot of weight and room in backpack. I just wish it was a bit wider when zipped up.
Cons

Just worried the zipper may fail especially if you need to exit the bag quickly in the field since it seemed to catch some while opening when testing it

It compresses down to nothing and can be squished into the nooks and crannies of your bag
