Pros & Cons
Pros
The swagman roll is outstanding for features and value. It's a now a permeant part of my kit i like it that much. This poncho liner was recommended by corpral's corner on youtube.
This is pretty light weight, warm, versatile. Very convenient while on the move.
Helikon-tex swagman roll poncho works great. Helicon products are top quality across the board and this seller provided fabulous shipping. When combined with the helicon military poncho, this system cannot be beat.
The hood tucks into a pocket and stays in place with velcro when using it in blanket mode. Conversion to a sleeping bag is quick and easy using the zipper sewn into three of the sides. I just wish it was a bit wider when zipped up.
The carry pouch is much larger than i expected. The photos make it seem like a small footprint. Saves alot of weight and room in backpack.
Cons
Found a zippered dragoon woobie for $45. I'm gonna keep it short, this product is not worth the money.
Highlights
Quality
Vesitile a bunch of uses for the product
The quality is there it’s warm it’s durable it’s soft it’s useful it looks and fits great
Paired with the mil spec poncho will be used as a sleeping system
Shipping
Great product as always but amazing shipping as well
Finally i found it in stock with prime shipping
Packaging/appearance
Major improvement to the old school poncho liner the woobie
Competitiveness
Every military member would much rather have this than a standard woobie i will probably buy a second one eventually
A great piece of kit use it with my usgi poncho for overnight trips
80 would be a reasonable price and competitive with a woobie or other poncho liners on the market
But for summer this is a great and smaller alternative to a full underquilt
