The end tang is too short making extraction somewhat more difficult and impossible to allow placing it on a stationary object and extending the tape by pulling the reel

I do prefer this tape measure because it rests in the locked position you pull on tape it stays extended to retract you have to press the button

The tape may have been pulled out too far by the students though but overall we taped off 128 spaces

No longer do i have to manually push on a crunchy slide to lock and unlock the tape

You press either one of the two buttons to release it

You have to press the button to get it to retract

A nice feature is that when the tape is pulled out it stays out until the retract button is pulled
