For those unfamiliar with the concept of a quicktime event these are onscreen prompts to press one or more buttons in order to have a character perform an often complex contextsensitive action

Rather than having different control schemes for handtohand combat intense gunfighting driving the wrong way down a highway and sneaking through wires charged with electricity the use of quicktime events ensures theres no breaks in the action to teach the player how to use a complex control scheme

The game is for the most part linear and though your successes and mistakes will have an impact on subsequent scenes the path the characters take to the end wont change

Dialogue options show up as a single word or short phrase and sometimes what the character says isnt quite what you expect
