It didnt make a whole lot of sense then or now but then i strongly suspect that a lot of people probably went to see this film while stoned and so they really didnt care all that much about the storyline

The several instances of animated female nudity in this one were all quite nice despite the fact that graphic novel artists tend to show young women all having these enormous breasts probably because they know that their target audience is mostly teenaged guys
