Pros

Love the locking mechanism. My dog no longer chews--he is over his anxieties--but if he tried, i doubt he could chew through it as he did the other.

Cons

Lead rope is very cheesy. My dog is 50 pounds and he didn't pull or chew on the leash at all.

This purchase was a complete waste of money. Going to find the highest rated retractable on here and try again. Wish i could return for a new one, but wouldn't recommend as the quality is apparently spotty, and their return policy isn't adequate.

It now jams snd rattles when in use, and time to switch to the pug. Lasted about 3 months. This is what happened the first time he bolted with this leash.
