Pros
Dark brown and grey (blueish color) are as close as you can get the the original shoe laces. The only thing i noticed is that they are a bit difficult to get hooked under the metal speed lace hooks.
Durable and tough. They even look good. Though i have no other boots that would compliment the tan gold.
Cons
These laces are so fat that they don't stay in my danner boot lace hook eyelets unless i tighten the boot so much it hurts my ankle. They are too wide in diameter to fit in the holes of the raised eyelets of my lowa men's hiking boots. Martins has a s... Read More

Quality
If the quality withstands cat teeth and claws for a time im sure they make great laces for shoes
But the grayturquoise of the scarpas with the tangold wouldve been chefs kissah well
Ive worn these boots at least 5 times so far with the new laces and not once have they come untied
The laces are thicker than the ones that come with the boots and were almost too thick to use with the quick laces

My work boots came with really thin course laces that didnt hold a knot very well and they broke after just a few months

Because of how thin and course the laces were they would dig into your skin making it uncomfortable to tie them tightly
