First thing i noticed straight out of the box and when checking the filters was they did seem to have a lot of static charge on them possibly from where it had been previously stored

The hepa and carbon filter was inserted the wrong way around the hepa should be next to the uv source to kill anything growing on it and on further examination appears to have the tab to remove it and the labelling for insertion on the wrong side giving the wrong instructions

There is a slight sweet smell from the uv lampioniser from the outgoing air possibly ozone but it no real problem as the windows get opened frequently

The sensors are very sensitive and can pick up tobaccocooking smells from two rooms away even fragrant smells air fresheners etc will trigger the purifier into working harder to clean the air

This one purchased to replace the one used in the aviary which has lasted for over 8 years running 12 hrs a day 7 days a week as the fan started to squeak a bit which the parrots started to mimic
