The stitching is very well done. The outer fabric is quilted on the front and back, with a kind of knit/ribbed fabric along the sides. The battery is a flat square item that slips into the side of the jacket without causing extra bulk.
It is not a dealbreaker necessarily, but might be something some people have difficulty with. Easy to navigate. Super easy and accessible from the chairlift.

Most of the heating elements are in the back covering the back from bottom to top and even including elements in the neck area

Since this is made of lightweight polyester that does mean that the material is not super firmthick and so is a bit easier to tear then a thicker material would be
