Accuracy is not only it's main feature, it is repeatable. You don't stare at changing numbers like a slot machine every time you stand on it. The scale itself is both rugged and accurate.

The necessary wrench is provided. After having a good cry, i’ve come to appreciate how finely crafted this thing is.

Best of all it reads 2 pounds less than my erratic digital.

The zero balance is hard to get when turning the screw. The height rod is very difficult to raise and lower and catches. The nuts were already put on the bottom of the pillar of the scale and then was missing the wrench “provided’.

This exact one is like a knock-off compared to the 1st. The whole device has a cheap look and feel to it. Expensive piece of junk too.

You really have to destroy the box it comes in to unbox it. Will probably toss it in the dumpster. Detecto suggest i send it back, with round trip shipping costing almost as much as the scale.
