Strap keeps cpap on all night without having to tug and pull on it. Keeps the mask from sliding up and the need to sleep with a ponytail. I like the dreamwear pillows with this strap - it is easy to put on.
The dreamwear frame/cushions aren't perfect, but very well designed imo. This is much more comfortable and secure than the original stretchy type of headband. I'm fairly sure it has literally reshaped my cranium.
Cons
I assume the overall decline in quality is an attempt to fatten the ceo's paycheck. This device is the farthest thing from an upgrade! Slides up every time. Does not stay on as well as the old strap.

It is a bit more rigid and perhaps a little less comfortable but i’ll take it over the strap that constantly slips around
