Pros & Cons
Pros
Lowrance live fish finder/chart plotter is the best they have ever made. Fish reveal feature works very well in overlaying color sonar on the down scan image.
Hds live 16 is worth the money and then some. Processor is noticably faster too. Only negative is live transducer is 1k and i left my sd card in old unit when i returned it lol.
It truely is a game changer! This unit does very well in the direct sun light. Easy to see in full sunlight.
Works as advertised. It is correctly configured. Installation was a breeze.
Cons
The built in transducer is out - probably zapped by the fish finder. My unit was returned due to the screen freezing up after attempting to load the map card supplied by lowrance. Buy any other brand.
Highlights
Quality
I have used the 1234 unit and am seriously impressed with the structure scan capability
The screen quality and ease of use is next to none
Competitiveness
Integrated easily with my hds9 gen3 unit and motorguide tour builtin sonar transducer
