Cable. Ordered andxarrived 2 days later. Worked perfectly. This replacement seems to work eactly as it should so far.
Cons
The cable is faulty, dirty, and an electrical hazard. Oversized and broke in the first drop. Produces really bad input lag when playing games.

It’s probably suitable for a pc’s hdmi to dvi but the mac’s low powered hdmi won’t drive this
