They either switched automatically when they shouldnt or would only work with 1 device powered on

Since this one is a mechanical switch theres no automation but the connection is much simpler and therefore more compatible

Despite the extra cable length there isnt any significantly noticeable signal degradation but there is some minor amount with the best hdmi cables
