I discovered that my tvs hdmi port provides enough power to the switch so there was no need for a power cable supplied with the switch
Everything works as expected the remote is great and the tv picture quality is excellent
The video quality isnt degraded in any way at least at 1080p resolutions

Fortunately i have loads myself and everything else is working right out of the box

However the similar sky sports ppv app will not let you use a chromecast
The bt sports ppv app i can run on my chromebook pc and use a chromecast to project in on our tv
This device is small but ingenious and makes switching between devices a doddle

The box features a button to select which of the 3 hdmi ports it should put through to your screen

But it also comes with a remote and a ir receiver on a lead so you can position the box out of site but still use the remote

If you want to manually switch between devices there is a remote control or a button on the top of the switch

There are 3 leds on the box to tell you which input is currently selected

Note that the unit doesnt come with any hdmi leads so youll need a lead to go from the switch to your tv monitor and then one per device you want to plug in

Id hope this is a just a fault and needs replacing hence not 1 star
