The sound and picture quality is great, and i like that the transmitter and receiver boxes are made of a sturdy metal material.
The loop out hdmi feature worked fine with my dish network receiver and the picture/sound quality were great.
Love the quality of the picture and how the audio between the two devices is flawless, no delay.
This product works and the remote ir sensor is a bonus.
Competitiveness
This hdmi over ethernet extender worked great when connected over one cat5e cable.
I do recommend keeping the run under 200ft.
We used these to connect our church's media computer to our projector - a run of over 100 ft, using the existing cat5 cable.
Ran a 100 foot cat6 cable to a projector it's been working fine, no disconnections or any other problems.

This item is installed where there is about 200 feet between them ran on cat/6.

This product does not communicate over tcp/ip, so i could not get any signal passed over the powerline adapters.
