Used for new 4k tv & dvd player. Linking laptop to tv.
Cons
The cable is unnecessarily stiff due to the mesh sheath. I'm guessing the wire inside the plug has come loose.
Fails completely on 4k at 60hz, just too fuzzy. Only manages to work on 30hz. But still the same flashing/snowy screen. Could not handle 4k dolby vision from apple tv box to brand new philips 4k tv.

To me hdmi is hdmi but this made difference from one that came woth sky box now huge but certainly noticeable

I thought my sky lead was faulty as my tv was dropping the signal from the q box
