Pros
Charged my new nintendo 3ds with no problems. Most portable devices i own are auto-volt. Perfect for use with any usb charger. Can be used in car with usb chargers. Works for both ds and 3ds units.
Great travel cable. Saves a ton of space. Until then, this is a must buy, especially for travellers that go on long car trips.
Cons
The orange light on the front of the 3ds blinks erratically when the cable is plugged in. I believe the product i received was defective.

This charger cable is handy and does charge but not when the 3ds is on with or without the lid closed

Its unfortunate because you cant really save states on a 3ds so you cant just pick it up again and resume after like with a normal charger
