The new design appears to have done the trick, as the video and audio were just as clear or even clearer than the original one-piece design. Neon signs look realistic.
The cable provides hdmi quality image for your original xbox. The crisp and clear graphics makes playing the original xbox over hdmi really awesome. Will buy other hdmi cables from this seller for all my other retro consoles.
The x-box connector fits snug with no play, so it seems to make good contact. I play my original xbox with mvp baseball 2005, espn nfl 2k5, as if it's an xbox 360!

The only issue ive had with this is occasionally the screen will go black for a second or so typically just a few times every 10 minutes or so or linesbars reminiscent of old school vhs will show across the top of the screen again this isnt common and only lasts for a second or so

Followed the setup instructions that came in the box insert and played for a few minutes just to verify that the hdmi adapter was working

It does work without a power source but i noticed in the directions that the manufacturer recommends plugging in a power cable to the tvs usb port to provide a steady stream of power so i used an extra micro usb cable i had kicking around

The insert also recommended that if you notice any wonkiness with the picture quality then you mightve received a defective adapter and you should reach out to customer support since your product is covered under a 1year warranty
