Pros
Neutral to neutral, common live to common live and switched live to switched live. Easy to cable up and fits standard box in wall.
Just configure it to an outlet and it works. Works perfectly with google home, i just say, turn on the heating for one hour and i'm done. Will buy another for my immersion heater.
Once set up it's ok to revert to 5ghz as first preference. My bt router supports 5ghz and 2. I use it with ifttt and so far it works perfectly.
Bargain solution. Outstanding value for money. I hope they manage to get more stock shortly.
Took me about 10 mins to work out pairing as instructions are a bit naff. The lack of an earth terminal is easily overcome by a separate connector if necessary.
Cons
Tried scanning for the device. Pressed power button & nothing but would not connect. Even when the router was placed next to it. Either it's a dud or you need to be a telecoms nerd to connect it up to the network. Smartlife app crashes if you try ... Read More
Immersion is only 2. Looks ugly and sticks out a long way from the wall. Gave up and returned it. Now returning 2nd one.

59 and on the same day i received it i went to order another and the price had increased to £19
Competitiveness
The item is controlling a 3kw immersion heater no problem
It was quite easy to install but its best to ask an electrician if you are at all concerned about your own competence with 240v electrics
Just need to remember to disconnect any 5ghz wifi before connecting as it only uses 2

I could have replaced this particular towel rail with another rointe one expensive but there was nothing wrong with my existing rail

It doesnt have its own fuse so you would need a fused switch for safety depending on your setup
