This product was advertised as new. It definitely is not. It is a used, and scratched. It was also repackaged.

One thing i did different was i used two of my own sheet metal screws to install itsince chevy had left me a couple holes that lined up

If you install it on the right side like most people do above the accelerator youll be putting to the far right close to the doghouse transmission cover and youll need a 14 wrench to tighten the screws on that side so prestart them once

I have owned installed many dumb units with nothing more than a wheel for adjustment

At first i voltage checked the unit at the trailer plug and it was low 7v when at max wheel setting and this worried me
