Pros & Cons

Pros

Will be buying again and gradually switching over. This pellet food is great!

It's more nutritionally dense than the others. Still, if at least one of them will eat it it's a win. They gobble this up so easily and happily. They get this once a day along with veggie chops and seeds.

Harrisons is quality food. Other than chop, harrison's is the healthiest out there. I mix both since this is a little pricier than the harrisons fine.

Cons

They need to reevaluate the formula or don't recommend it for parakeets. They thru it away and chose another pellets.

Quality

This food is great quality and recommended by my vet

They are energetic and happy no health problems to speak of thus far 3 months into the diet supplementing with other naturals of course

The bag says only feed this for 6 months then switch to the lifetime food

I put my bag in the freezer make sure to squeeze all air out but these are hard to open many of the pressclose end up breaking

Price

It seems to jump from 17 to 25 and unfortunately the last time i had to buy they ended up being over 25

You can get it cheaper from the manufacturers website but they have a high shipping cost not worth it for one bag

But i just bought another bag from the vet and it was half price

Shipping

But they took a few days and then they love it nowvery happy with it

Package came a day earlier as advertised product

Packaging/appearance

It was packaged well and came fresh

Competitiveness

You can definitely see the difference in your bird when you transition them over to harrison’s from bird seed mixes

I love this brand of food it is the main part of my birds diet however the cost here is much higher than from the maker

My budgie used to be a seed addict and after i tried switching her to zupreem natural and then roudybush with no luck i decided...  Read More
